WAKE UP MALAYSIAN...

Amin...

P/S: I LOVE YOU

Huhh..its been along time since I quit from reading any books or even novels rather than my degree text book. And now, as I am graduated and apparently not working yet, I took this time off to do whatever I wanted to do that will fullfill my my desire. One day, I went to a shoping mall in town. And as usual, I will spend more then an hour in the bookstore!! Uhuu..i love books!! Actually I'm intended to buy some magazinez but suddenly I my eyes was attracted at a best sellers book's rack!! Yeah, its all about the tittle, P/S: I LOVE YOU!! And plus the cover desing was really attractive as well-with a perfect combination of baby blue, pink and yellow! Isn't it attractive?

I took the book and read the synopsis line by line!

"Holly Kennedy and Gerry were made for each other, true soulmates who fell in love at a very young age. It sounds like a dream come true, but the dream is quickly shattered when Gerry is told than his frequent migraines are actually caused by a brain tumour and that he will only have a few months left to live. Gerry’s death naturally shatters Holly’s world, as she finds herself alone and having lost her husband, lover and best friend all at once. Like anyone who has experienced such loss, she is unable to work, unable to do anything “normal” people would do, and unable to be properly happy for her best friends who are continuing with their lives without Gerry."

"Holly was always very dependent on Gerry, which makes the loss so much harder. But thoughtful Gerry has prepared for this situation in advance. Shortly before Holly’s 30th birthday, she receives a mysterious envelope which turns out to have been sent by Gerry before he died. In this envelope she finds a series of smaller envelopes, one for each month until the end of the year. As she soon discovers, each envelope contains a little message with a task for her to do – and each note is signed “PS, I love you.”With the help of these notes and the continuous support by friends and family, Holly gradually manages to return to “normal life” and learns to laugh again. But the road to a normal life is riddled with the occassional backlapses."

Damn...I took that book, paid and left!!

Frankly speaking, this book is really inspired me a lot. Cecilia succed to put me in the situations, might as well I experienced it before as my late fiance pass away on Dec, 2005...This book is one of the best reads I've had in a long time. The reader experiences Holly's grieving experience and her ups and downs on the road to recovery. It's a very romantic novel but one I'd recommend it to anyone (perhaps not males though)! You find yourself unable to put the book down, it's a real page-turner. Happiness and sadness are juxtaposed throughout the novel so one minute, you'll find yourself laughing and the next you'll be crying. You don't sympathise with Holly, you feel empathy - which is one reason why this story is so powerful.

P.S. I LOVE YOU is one of the best, most enjoyable books i have ever read. It makes you think. Very emotional, you will cry. Aswell as Laugh your head off. Cecelia girl has humour. It makes you celebrate and hold on to what you have. Proof that love survives. Well done Cecelia, Brilliant! As I've told before, this book really inspired me a lot for my future undertaking...and this is a Powerful Quote from the book.....

"As you climb the ladder of success, be sure it's leaning against the right building." ~Quoted in P.S. I Love You, compiled by H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Happy Weddings Day Suhana!!

“First of all, a newly wedded couple’s attitude to significance of this event is important, its realization as a new stage of their life; and secondly, mutual tenderness and understanding. Then everybody will be shining with joy, laugh and happiness”.
